An original acrylic painting by Shireen. This painting was specifically painted to raise funds for the Palestinian children in Palestine. All the net proceeds from the sale of this art piece will be donated to an organization which works with the Palestinians in Palestine and the Palestinian refugees.
Shireen named this art piece "Ascent". The Muslims believe that the Prophet Muhammad (Peace and Blessings be upon him) was mystically taken from the Dome of the Rock to the Heavens where he met with God. This ascent is called "Israa el Miraaj" in Arabic.
